What is Dallas Fiction Writers?

We are fiction writers in the larger DFW area who want to connect with other writers and enjoy social settings together.

Who can Join?

If you write, you’re a writer! There is no publishing requirement to join. Whether you write fantasy, science fiction, romance, horror, mystery, literary fiction, or children’s fiction, we’d love to meet you!

Does it cost anything to attend?

Dallas Fiction Writers is completely free! That means no membership fees, no begging for donations, and no sales pitch.

When do you meet?

Typically, we meet the second Friday of the month. We post our monthly meetings here on our website as well as through Facebook, Instagram, Meetup, and Eventbrite.

Do you have a critique group I can join?

The short answer? No. The slightly longer answer? Not yet. The longest answer? We’d love to be a resource for writers to find other likeminded colleagues to share their work with. Once we have enough interest, we will create a database for you to find critique partners.
